1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using the Genki SportZ mobile application ("App") or accessing genkisportz.in ("Website"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App or Website.
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Genki SportZ ("we", "us", or "our"). By accessing or using our services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted these Terms in full.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years of age to create an account and use the App. If you are under 18, you confirm that you have obtained consent from a parent or legal guardian. We reserve the right to terminate accounts of users who misrepresent their age.
3. Your Account
To use certain features, you must create an account using your phone number. You are responsible for:
- Providing accurate and up-to-date registration information.
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your account.
- All activity that occurs under your account.
Notify us immediately at genkisportz1@gmail.com if you suspect unauthorized access to your account. We are not liable for losses arising from unauthorized use of your account.
4. Our Services
Genki SportZ provides a platform that includes:
- Real-time court discovery and booking at partner academies.
- Equipment rental add-ons (rackets, shuttlecocks, footwear, etc.).
- Player-to-player connection, friendly matches, and public match requests.
- Tournament discovery and registration.
- A peer-to-peer marketplace for badminton gear.
- In-app real-time messaging (chat).
- Push notifications for bookings, reminders, and messages.
We act as a platform connecting players and court owners. We are not responsible for the conduct of third-party venues or other users.
5. Court Bookings & Payments
Bookings
When you book a court through the App, a booking agreement is created between you and the partner academy. Genki SportZ facilitates this transaction and is not a party to the booking contract itself.
Payments
Payments are processed securely via our third-party payment processor. By making a payment, you agree to the payment processor's terms of service. We do not store your full card details.
Cancellations & Refunds
Cancellation and refund policies are set by each individual partner academy and will be displayed at the time of booking. Genki SportZ is not responsible for enforcing venue-specific cancellation policies. For payment disputes, contact us at genkisportz1@gmail.com with your booking reference number.
6. Marketplace
The in-app marketplace allows users to buy and sell badminton equipment directly with each other. Genki SportZ is not a party to marketplace transactions. We do not guarantee the quality, safety, legality, or accuracy of marketplace listings.
By using the marketplace, you agree to:
- List only items you own and have the right to sell.
- Provide accurate descriptions and pricing.
- Conduct all transactions in good faith.
We reserve the right to remove listings or suspend accounts that violate these terms.
7. User Conduct
You agree not to:
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose.
- Harass, abuse, threaten, or defame other users.
- Post false, misleading, or fraudulent content.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the App or its servers.
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or otherwise attempt to extract the source code of the App.
- Use automated bots or scripts to interact with the App.
- Interfere with the integrity or performance of the App.
Violation of these rules may result in immediate suspension or permanent termination of your account.
8. User-Generated Content
You retain ownership of any content you post (profile photos, chat messages, marketplace listings, etc.). By posting content, you grant Genki SportZ a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to use, display, and distribute that content solely for the purpose of providing and improving the App.
You are solely responsible for the content you post. We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these Terms or that we deem harmful, offensive, or inappropriate.
9. Privacy
Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Please review it to understand how we collect, use, and protect your personal data.
10. Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability
The App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without any warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Genki SportZ shall not be liable for:
- Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.
- Loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses.
- Damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the App.
- Conduct of other users or third-party venues.
- Any physical injury sustained at a partner venue.
11. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account and access to the App at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that we determine violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.
You may delete your account at any time via the Delete Account page. Upon deletion, your personal data will be removed within 5–7 business days, subject to our legal retention obligations.
12. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
